Last Thursday, May 23, the inauguration of Cohidrex Madrid was celebrated – an event that symbolizes the union of Extremadura and Madrid in a shared dream and a common project.
Several personalities attended the inauguration, including authorities from the City Council of Camarma de Esteruelas and the Presidency of the Chamber of Commerce of Cáceres, as well as media representatives from the sector, business associations, clients, suppliers, family members, friends, and the Cohidrex team.
Attendees came from countries such as Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia, as well as from various regions of Europe like the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, France, and Portugal, and from North Africa. There was also notable representation from different parts of Spain, especially highlighting the presence of numerous participants from Madrid, a community to which Cohidrex has come with all humility to improve and offer better service, as it has been doing in Extremadura for over 30 years.
In his speech, Alfonso Domínguez, the CEO of Cohidrex, expressed that the realization of this project is not just a personal dream, but a solid business project that has been long thought out and considered. “It is a commitment to doing things well and with the excitement of bringing to Madrid everything they have been doing in Cáceres for many years.”
This business project is inspired by two clearly defined pillars:
To offer quality service in Madrid similar to that provided in Cohidrex Extremadura, with humility, eagerness, and the desire to learn, knowing that it is a very demanding challenge, but willing to face it, recognizing that their clients are demanding and that this motivates them to improve and progress every day.
To strengthen their export vocation, which over the past 15 years has led them to have a presence in 56 countries. Cohidrex believes that from Madrid they will be more competitive and offer better service, which is the ultimate goal of their daily work.
Alfonso Domínguez also dedicated a few words to all the members of Cohidrex, “a wonderful team that combines youth and experience, but shares great enthusiasm and enormous commitment to the company.”
Special thanks were directed to the founder's family, especially to his mother and father, who was his forerunner and planted the seed that grew into Cohidrex. He also highlighted the support of his daughter, making a reference to his granddaughters. Finally, special thanks to his wife and partner Piedad, for her constant support in all the challenges he has undertaken.
The inauguration of Cohidrex Madrid marks an important milestone in the expansion and consolidation of the company, reaffirming its commitment to quality and continuous improvement in service.
