New Trasteel Tooth Before Mining Work

Performance of Trasteel Excavator Teeth

We put our Trasteel excavator teeth through a demanding test in a nickel mine, where we evaluated field performance, profitability, productivity, design efficiency and the durability of the wear material.

The excavator used for this test was a Liebherr R.984, equipped with our heavy-duty tooth model, the TSJ600PHD. This 7-unit bucket proved that our excavator teeth are optimized for mining applications and demanding jobs.

As shown in the images, the Trasteel teeth retained their arrowhead shape, enabling excellent penetration even under advanced wear conditions. This resulted in superior efficiency throughout their lifespan.

Our analysis shows a material performance rate of 55–60% by weight, significantly reducing costs per processed kilogram. This not only increases mine profitability but also optimizes the use of heavy machinery.

How much does mining performance improve?

Trasteel excavator teeth offer the perfect combination of quality and durability. Their advanced design ensures exceptional performance in mining and earthmoving projects, outperforming other products on the market.

Thanks to our experience in civil engineering and wear material development, we have created a complete product catalog adapted to all types of machinery, such as backhoe loaders, bulldozers, mini excavators and wheel loaders. Check out our excavator teeth catalog and request a quote.

Performance on Liebherr R.984 Excavator

The Liebherr R.984 excavator equipped with Trasteel teeth proved that our products are the ideal choice for heavy-duty applications. The tests included work in compact soil and rocky terrain, where our teeth maintained even wear and consistent performance.
