Trasteel Elite RCN for excavators is optimized to break and cut in rock and compact ground. Its profile delivers higher penetration with less effort, reducing fuel/energy use and improving the machine’s productivity.

• Reinforced central rib: Added material increases strength under mechanical load.
• Improved penetration and self-sharpening: The longitudinal distribution of the compensating rib enhances performance throughout the wear cycle.

Thanks to its high-quality alloy and heat treatment, the RCN keeps its edge for longer (the self-sharpening effect) and offers superior resistance to impact and abrasion. It is the ideal choice for demanding jobs where sustained performance is key.

Its optimized cutting profile reduces resistance to penetration and improves material ejection, decreasing vibrations and stresses on the tooth–adapter assembly. The uniform distribution of stresses helps prevent micro-cracks and extends the change-out cycle, maintaining productivity even on rock fronts and compact ground.

In addition, the Caterpillar J system fit with standard pin and retainer enables quick, safe installation and replacement on site. Available in sizes J450, J550 and J600, the RCN helps reduce downtime and cost per cycle while maintaining reliability.
